Mr. Eddie Charles Conker, age 53, of McDonough, GA passed away September 30, 2011. Eddie was born in Fulton County, owned and operated his own Concrete Construction Company, Conker Poured Walls. He was a loving husband and father who was very involved in his children's sports and activities. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sports, the beach, eating, and babysitting his grandson and his four legged bulldog grand dog. Eddie had very high work ethics and he never missed a day of work. Survivors are his wife, Debby Conker of McDonough; children, Nyisha Huff (Reggie) of Forest Park, Chaz Conker of McDonough and Albrey Conker of McDonough' grandson, Derrick Ogletree: Little Dee:; mother and step father, Gert and Herbert Grigley of forest Park; grandmother, Grace Hand of Inman; sister, Connie Griggs of Forest Park; brother, Greg Conker of Forest Park; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. His grandfather, Calvin Hand preceded him in death. Funeral service for Eddie will be Wednesday, October 5, 2011 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will be at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fayetteville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM.
