EDDIE GLENN GRIFFIN

In a world of posers and phonies Eddie was the real deal. The 70s revolutionary who became the elder statesman. We were an unlikely friendship, a white cop and a former Black Panther commander, but friends we were and the respect flowed both directions. He used to compare us to Civil War Generals, men who were on opposing sides but who were very fond of each other because of common experience. I will miss his wisdom and knowledge, God speed Eddie.

The Griffin and Pollard families have been friends, classmates, neighbors and most of all sisters and brothers in Jesus Christ for over almost 80 years! We extend our deepest heartfelt sympathy to the Griffin family during their time of grief and sorrow!!!!!!
