Eddie A. Martin, 66, of St. Albans, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2023, in Burlington, VT.
Eddie was born on March 16, 1957 in Rockville, in CT and was the son of Shirley (Mumley) and Edward Martin.
He was a mechanic all of his life. He had been employed at various places as a mechanic however he really enjoyed his time at sticks and stuff. Eddie was a tinkerer. He enjoyed taking things apart and seeing how they worked. Occasionally though, they didn't work anymore.... Eddie enjoyed old country music and was a member of several bands.
Eddie is survived by : his daughters, Jessica Dansereau and her husband Todd of New York, Amy Martin and her husband Michael Buker of Colchester, Nicky Martin of New York, Therese Tucker and her husband Chad of Highgate, Ashley Martin and her partner Kurtis Spear of St. Albans; his mother Shirley Martin, 9 grandchildren including his special grandson Kolton Spear and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sister Kathy Cutler of Florida and two nieces Julie and Amanda Cutler of Florida. He is also survived by his special friend and caretaker, Nikki Ward. Nikki, although you were his caretaker, you were more than that to him and for that we will forever be grateful for the care and compassion you showed Eddie.
Eddie is preceded in death by his father Edward Martin and his granddaughter Sage Marie Hall.
Visiting hours will held on Friday April 28th, 2023 4-6 PM with a service at 6 PM in the Minor Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Milton.
