Eddie “Ed, Irish” Frank Murphy, 83, of Arlington, Texas, peacefully passed away on January 2, 2026.
Born on February 11, 1942, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Ed was the son of Edward and Grace Murphy.
He lived a full, vibrant, and well-traveled life. From road bikes to dirt bikes, his passion for adventure—shared with his beloved wife, Bennie, and fellow motorcycle enthusiasts—carried him across the country and created countless cherished memories.
Ed is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Bennie June Murphy; his three children, Carey Ogle, Christy Lee, and Russ Murphy; four grandchildren, Nicole Zeigler, Justin Murphy, Hannah Ogle, and Maya Ogle; and three great-grandchildren, Lela Wolaver, Amelia Vinson, and Micah Zeigler.
He will forever remain in our hearts as he takes his final ride.
