Wow daddy I can't believe that it has been 6 long years since that horrible hurricane Katrina came and took you away from us. I remember like it was yesterday, asking you if you were going to leave, begging you to leave and praying that you had decided to leave after not hearing from you for a few days I began to worry about you not being in a safe place and not being able to take your meds.I just continued to pray that you were alright. I remember one day in September that someone called my phone and told me that word on the street was that Eddie the painter who loved on flood Street had drowned. OMG! I prayed that it wasn't you daddy, I had never prayed so hard in my life o was just hoping that it was not you, but unfortunately it was my daddy MR. EDDIE JAMES RAY daddy may you REST IN PEACE.....I will always love you

Eddie is certainly missed by all of us that had the honor of meeting him and who could forget his SMILE!! I know i'll never forget his smile and how he made everyone feel welcome ALL WAYS!!
