Eddie's Obituary

Eddie Thomas Jr was born April 30, 1974, to the union of Sally Watkins and Eddie Thomas Sr.

Our Heavenly Father called Eddie home on Friday February 13, 2026, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo Michigan.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 7th, 2026 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Filbrandt Chapel, 1076 S. Bailey Ave, South Haven with a service to follow at 12 p.m. Evangelist Ruth Watkins Preston will be officiating.

Eddie confessed Christ at an early age. Eddie attended school in South Haven Michigan. Eddie always talked about the deep and unconditional love he had for his children and that they were his greatest joy in life. Eddie loved basketball in which him and his team participated in the Bobby Walker tournaments every year. Eddie also loved playing online Poker with his brother Tirrell every day. Attending Bible Study online with his Aunt Ruthann every Thursday was also one of his weekly routines. Eddie also enjoyed his cars, listening to music and I tell you he loved to eat.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents Father Eddie Thomas Sr and Mother Sally Watkins and Brother Charles Watkins.

Eddie "RED" Thomas Jr leaves to cherish his memory: his children who he loved very dearly: Kevonna Hulbert, Victoria Booker, Terrance Mayes Sr, Eddie Thomas, Aleigha Mo Ray Thomas, and Aaliyah Thomas. Grandchildren: Myanna Booker, Terrance Mayes Jr, Elijah Ells, Nariyah Mayes, Maliyah Mayes, Makiyah Mayes, Ka'lehia Harris and Khalil Harris. Brother Tirrell Thomas. Aunts: Betty Watkins Cole, Jessie McAllister Watkins and Ruth Watkins Preston along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
