Mr. Eddie Lewis Wallace, age 78, of Dover, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tennessee. He was born on October 14, 1947, in Dover, Tennessee, the son of the late Lonnie Louis Wallace and Mabel Eugene Ford Wallace.
Mr. Wallace retired from Trane Company after more than 30 years of dedicated service. He was a Vietnam veteran who served in the United States Army. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of Indian Mound Masonic Lodge #303. Mr. Wallace enjoyed fishing and dearly loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Norma Jean Wallace; his grandson, Nathan Wallace; brother, Freddie Wallace; and sisters, Betty Lou Neeley, Elizabeth Ludwig, Francis Hoover, and Sue Anthony.
He is survived by his sons, Dewayne Wallace and Dwight Wallace (Tara); his grandchildren, Kenadee Wallace, Timothy Wallace, and Andrew Patterson; three great-grandchildren; brother, Frankie Wallace; and sisters, Georgie Bueller, Nita Balboni and Rita Jacobson.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at Anglin Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday with burial to follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
