Eddie Woods, 74, passed away on March 12, 2025, in Greencastle, IN.
He was born in Greencastle, IN to his parents William and Crystal Woods.
Eddie was a good man, father, husband, son, brother, and loved being a grandpa to his 5 grandchildren. The apple of his eye were the 11 great grandchildren. They always made his day when they came through the door looking for papaw in his chair!
Eddie had many friends. He could fix almost anything and loved to buy, sell, and give away anything but Barb. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved being outdoors and on the family farm. Eddie was also known for his ability to create and invent, being exceptionally talented with metal working and fabricating. Eddie also enjoyed muscle cars and motorcycles, camping, and boating.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara Woods; his 2 daughters Mendy (David) Shrout and Jodie Woods-Clodfelter, his grandchildren Brooklyn, Thomps (Shelby), Shelbi, Clayton (Claire), and Trey (Jordan); 11 great grandchildren; his brother Richard and sisters Janet (Bill) and Judy (Lannie); his brother and sister in laws, Larry (Tosha), Debbie (Jim), David, Donna (Mike), Margie (Randy), and Anna (Glenn), mother in law Joanna App, and several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, father in law Escar App, and his niece Kimberly Cunningham.
The services for Eddie will take place on Monday March 17, 2025 at Fillmore Christian Church, 102 N Main St, Fillmore, IN 46128. Visitation will be from 12pm to 2pm, with the funeral service beginning at 2pm. He will then be laid to rest at Clinton Falls Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made in Eddie's name to The National Kidney Foundation.
