Eddith Fern Ott, 97, of Stroud, Oklahoma, passed away on October 8, 2025. She was born on July 7, 1928, in Longdale, Oklahoma, to Game and Maudie Pritchard (Miller).

Eddith married Orville Dean Ott on March 7, 1946, and together they built a loving home and family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Orville.

She is survived by her two daughters, Orvella Blockinger and Ethel Hoppis; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Eddith's life was marked by faith, family, and kindness. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Union City or The Baptist Children's Home in her memory.

A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church of Union City on Sunday, October 9, 2025, at 2:30 PM. Burial will be at Longdale Cemetery in Longdale, Oklahoma.

I'm so sorry to hear about Eddith's passing, but I know where she is. She was the best neighbor we ever had and one of the best friends I ever had. Loved her like a sister. May God bless you all and comfort you at this time.

We will miss you so much! I remember your southern hospitality and always picking apples in the front yard. Mema saw you a sister more than anything. I hope y´all are up there having the best of times with Orvella and Aunt Maxine and aunt Veda and all the amazing wonderful woman I had in my life including my Momma. Until we meet again!
