Eddy departed his earthly home and entered his heavenly home on Monday October 20, 2025, at Carepartners Solace Center in Asheville. Eddy was born to the late Clayton and Alice Trull. Also preceded in death are Billy Trull, Theodore Harley Trull, Hugh Trull, Betty Gail Trull, Mary Alice Burke and Doris Faye Miller.
Eddy is survived by his twin brother Teddy. The Trull family was so excited at the twin's birth, they looked just alike. To know Eddy was to love him, He loved his Lord and Savior, all of his church family, and all of his work family and friends. Eddy's biggest wish was for all to accept Christ, be loving and kind to each other, and to help anyone in need. His contagious laugh and snort (ha ha ha) will be missed by all that knew and loved him. One of his biggest joys was to make someone a pie or a pudding, to sit at a table and eat with them, laugh and tell stories. His love of children and animals was remarkable. He was always ready to lend a hand to help with any and all church activities whether it be to cook or just clean up. Eddy worked for the Haywood County School System for many years.
Left to cherish Eddy's memories is his brothers Teddy Trull and his wife, Jackie of Tennessee, Freddie Trull of Canton, Deanna Gregory and her husband, Joe of Canton and Donald Trull and Shirley. A very special friend and brother in Christ, Chris Garduce and his family of Ft. Campbell. His fur baby Precious and just too many others to name (family and friends).
Eddy's family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Mission Hospital and Carepartners as well for their kindness and excellent care. They would have loved to have seen him more true to his personality but could not as he was so sick in his final weeks. The family would also like to thank everyone who called, texted and visited or just prayed while he was in the hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on November 2, 2025, at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Canton. Please continue to pray for the family and friends and their broken hearts that have been left due to his passing. Just know Eddy has some big angel wings now in heaven.
