Eddy Daniel Walker

Born in Haiti on December 7, 1950, Eddy came to the United States as a teenager and grew up in the Washington D.C. area alongside his siblings Stanley, George, Lesly, James, Myrtho, Maryse, Michael, and their parents, Leon and Annette.
Eddy was a fun-loving man who loved everyone he met and never had anything bad to say about anyone. After graduating from Roosevelt High in Washington D.C., he attended the University of the District of Columbia. He trained and became a mechanic and worked at Pep Boys for many years, where his colleagues affectionately nicknamed him Paco. Later in life, he worked as a medical provider to those in need and built amazing relationships with his patients and their families.
Eddy loved to spend time with family and friends, attending gatherings, and spreading his joy to others. He was also an avid reader of comic books, and a very talented artist. He loved being around water and was an amazing captain on small boats. He lived with his brother George and Estela the last years and had an incredible bond with his siblings and family.
Eddy is survived by his daughter, Latoya Danielle, his siblings, Stanley, George, Lesly, Myrtho, Maryse, and lots of loving nephews, nieces, and grand nephews and grandnieces that adored him.
Eddy will be truly missed but never forgotten. His sacrifice, determination, love, selflessness, and loyalty are rare in this world. Words cannot begin to describe the impact his life had on us.
A Celebration of Life for Eddy will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:30 PM, at Going Home Cremation & Funeral, 519 Mabe Drive, Woodbine, MD 21797.
