Edelmiro Barrera

Edelmiro Barrera, age 78, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026. He was born on January 3, 1947, and lived a life centered on family, hard work, and love for those around him.Edelmiro was preceded in death by his father, Maximiliano Barrera; his mother, Antonia Fonseca; his beloved spouse, Alicia Barrera; his daughter, Norma Barrera; his brother, Arturo Barrera; his sister, Antonia Barrera; and his great-grandson, Sebastian Aguilar.He is survived by his loving children: Eddie Barrera, Edelmiro Barrera Jr., Mary Aguilar, Wendy Barrera, and Nellie Garcia (Gilbert). He is also survived by the mother of his children, Juanita Rodriguez. Edelmiro leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, who were a great source of pride and joy in his life.In addition, he is survived by 12 brothers and sisters, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.

Edelmiro will be remembered for his strength, dedication to his family, and the lasting legacy he leaves through generations who loved him dearly. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
