Edgar "Butch" Lou Perkins entered into the hands of his Lord on Tuesday, April 09, 2024 at the age of 50. He was loving son, brother, husband, father and will be greatly missed.
Born in El Paso, TX on April 11th, 1973. He attended Irvin high school where he ultimately met most of his childhood friends through his school life.
Edgar was an advent fisherman, he would fish lakes such as Elephant butte or Caballo with his family in New Mexico, Either bank fishing, or fishing off his boat with his son and friends, and he enjoyed riding Dirt bikes, and ATVS, with his friends by railroad dr. as a young kid, or ride out at Red Sands in far east El Paso and was heavily into the racing scene. He spent hours either customizing his vehicles, or he enjoyed working on his GMC Sonoma, taking it out for joyrides in "Mexico". He enjoyed time watching shows, and movies with his family, or going out to eat to spend as much time as he could.
Preceded and survived by
Edgar was preceded in death by his parents; Edgar and Edeltraud Perkins. He leaves behind his wife of twenty-four years, Gabriela Gomez, and Daughter Samantha Gomez, as well as Son, Scott Perkins.
Visitation will be at 10:00 am with Reflections to begin at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home - Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass Dr. Committal Service to follow at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
