Dear Mike,
I am so sorry to hear the news of your father's passing. I remember the conversations we had about him and the pictures you shared of the getaway place up north. I know where your love of the outdoors comes from. Your Dad sounded like such a special man, more unique than most, he is reflected in you. I see his smile in your sweet face.
Even though you are experiencing a large loss in your life, it is also a time to be at peace. Since your father knew Jesus, he is experiencing indescribable wonders for all eternity. Maybe The Almighty God has created Mr. Compton's mansion close to a fishing place full of walleye, not so elusive anymore.
You are in my heart sweet friend and my husband and I will be praying for you and your family. May the Holy Spirit be with you all.
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matt. 5:4

Dearest Judy, Kathleen, Micheal, and Heather

We are so very sad to hear of Ed's passing. He was such a beautiful light and blessed friend to our family. We have so many wonderful memories of the time in Bemidji shared with our parents fishing and visiting at the lake and on our patio. Your family has been a part of ours for so long, the lines are blurred and we consider you ours, as well. May God grant you all peace and comfort during the days to come.

With love from Up North,

Alan, Valerie, and Heather

Mike, Kathleen, Heather and Mrs.C, I am very sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of Mr.C. He was very patient with me and Mike and the rest of the neighborhood gang as we played ball for hours in his yard, tearing holes in his well managed lawn. He was a quiet force not to be reckoned with, yet really a gentle giant behind it all. I remember looking across the street on summer nights to see if Mike was out and Mr. C was always in the garage working on some project. I remember those days well. I trust you will find healing with time and the recollection of all that was good in Mr.C. Be well. With love, Brent
