I knew Jack & Dessie Erwin as a child in Citrus Heights from before "Eddie´s" birth. I recall Dessie saying that at the time of Eddie´s birth she was referred to by hospital nurses as "Sarah" because of her age. Eddie was the "apple of his parent´s ´ eye. My family stayed in touch with the Erwins through the years. The last time we saw Eddie was at his mother´s funeral. My wife & I still have a beautiful hand made Rag Quilt given to us by Dessie over 50 years ago. Fond memories of an exceptional couple and their much loved son, Eddie! God Bless the Erwin family!
