Edgar Arthur Gettys life journey took place from January 16th, 1934, through March 15th, 2025. At the age of 91, Arthur passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones in Covington, Washington. Born in Omaha, he grew up in Franklin and Wolbach, Nebraska, instilling in him a keen sense of community and values. As the son of Paul J. and Margaret F. Arthur is the first of eight children. He is survived by his devoted wife of 72 years, Ardyce Nadine Gettys; sons Paul and Joseph Gettys; and his two daughters, Karen Gettys and Susan Moses. Arthur's legacy lives on through his six grandchildren: Joeii Gettys, Kandiss Stenzel, Jamey Jackson, Jessica Brown, Cameo Anderson, and Summer Moses; and six great-grandchildren. His Profound love for animals, gardening, cooking, wealth of knowledge and wisdom will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know him.
