Edgar was born on July 6, 1930 and passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019. Edgar was a resident of Kings Mountain, North Carolina at the time of passing. Edgar had a distinguished career for over 35 years in the United States Navy, where he served at Master Chief. SURVIVORS: Wife of more than 52 years,: Annette Morris Pitman, Kings Mountain, NC; 1 son: Edwin Dwain Pitman and wife Tamara L. Pitman, Kings Mountain, NC 1 Grandson: Cullen E. Pitman, Kings Mountain, NC MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service with full military honors will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, 3:00 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC with Rev. Jim Brackett officiating. VISITATION: Family will great friends after the service at the church MEMORIALS: Shriners Children's Hospital, 950 West Faris Rd.
