Edie had been married to my Cousin, Paul Bolton, before he passed, many years ago. Tho I didn't know her well, I brought my father to visit her, at her lovely farm, that she would write about.

I had the privilege of meeting Edie Clark in Harrisville on Mary´s farm when my sister Betsy visited with her friend Marie Thompson. I was talking about the article and Yankee magazine that I dearly loved called Mary´s Farm written by Edie Clark. Marie said oh I grew up with her and her sister Chris in Summit New Jersey.... Well , We were in Concord NH at the time and Harrisville is not that far away. Marie called Up her childhood friend and we spent an incredible day with Edie. She was vibrant, funny, kind, and incredible author. She actually signed some of her books for us. Edie was a treasure and will be dearly missed
I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with Edie xoxo

This is so sad to read. I followed her articles for many years at Yankee Magazine and could hardly wait for the next edition.
