Edith Dinnocenzo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home - Turtle Creek on Dec. 1, 2024.
Of Wilkins Twp., passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the age of 91, just 4 days short of her 92nd birthday on December 3. Edith's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family, her sharp mind for business, and the pleasure of a well-played round of golf.
As the beloved wife of 71 years of John P. Dinnocenzo, Edith's partnership in both marriage and business was a testament to her commitment and love. Edith was the loving mother of Debra (Richard Swegan) Dinnocenzo of Wexford, Joseph (Olesya Haze) Dinnocenzo of NY, and John Paul Dinnocenzo of FL.
Edith was the cherished grandmother of Jennimarie (Swegan) Ballard and her husband William of St. Louis, and Timothy Dinnocenzo of NY. She was preceded in death by her sister, Angelina (late Patrick) Brennan, and her brother, Harold (late Maxine) Caprara. Edith is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A proud 1950 graduate of Turtle Creek High School, Edith's intelligence and diligence served her well in her professional life. She was the office manager for Dinnocenzo Construction, the company owned by her husband, John. Later, Edith's knack for numbers led her to a fulfilling career as a tax preparer and office manager. For recreation, Edith found great enjoyment playing golf at Churchill Valley Country Club and winning at bridge.
