Edith Hayden Obituary
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 2:15 p.m. at Calvary Mortuary Chapel under the direction of Calvary Mortuary staff.
Visitation will be held from 1:15 P.M. until 2:15 P.M. on Saturday at the Chapel.
Edith's love and memories will remain in the hearts of her husband, Charles A. Hayden, Jr.; sons, James Chapmen, and James Hayden, Sr.; sisters, Mercedes Bennett (Foster), and Geneva Mayfield (Donald); brothers, Walter Thomas (Louanna), Frank Thomas, Lee Roger Thomas, and Gerald Thomas; grandchildren, Ja'Maurey Hayden, Ja'Quez Hayden, James Hayden, Jr., Demarco Johnson (Diamond), and Ja'Marie Hayden; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

With Heartfelt Sympathy, praying for you Charles, and all of Edith's family, she was such a beautiful and loving friend. We didn't get to see her too often but the memories of all the good times will for ever remain with us.
