Edie loved playing cards, traveling and was a member of the Heartland Camping Club.
Edie is survived by husband Gerald Hayes, whom she married May 10, 1959, son Randy Hayes of Fortville, grandchildren Paige Pierce, Amy Hayes, Taylor Hayes and Joshua Reitz and sister Helen (Donald) McCreary. She was preceded in death by her daughter DeAnna Pierce and her parents listed above.
Private family services have taken place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville. Online condolences may be shared at www.sealsfuneralhome.com.
