Edith Highley Obituary
64 year old, Edith A. Highley, of San Pierre, passed away August 12, 2024.
On September 1, 1959, in East Tawas City, Michigan, Edith was born to James and Maryblanche (Thomas) Styles. She married the love of her life, Ronald Highley, on February 5, 1979, in East Tawas City, Michigan. Edith loved being a housewife. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her grandchildren.
Edith is survived by her loving family: husband: Ronald, children: Kathleen (Michael) Vann, Jacob (Dawn) Highley, 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren with one on the way, and siblings: George Styles, Molly Lambert, Clara Lossing, and son-in-law: Josh Keown.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, daughters: Jessica Barcus, and Amanda Keown, siblings: James Styles Jr., Frank Styles, Roger Styles, Raymond Styles, and Mary Groulx.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. (CST) on Friday, August 16, 2024, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Edith will take place on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. (CST), at the 1st Baptist Church, 8924 W 1200 N, DeMotte, Indiana, with Pastor Joe Kenning officiating. Interment will follow at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riley’s Children’s Hospital or St. Jude’s’s Children’s Research Hospital.
