I am so sorry for your loss My thouhts and prayers are with the family. My best memories of Edith is when Cynthia and I played in Razz-Ma-Tazz and went to Europe. Edith went with us. What a trip!

Cynthia and Valerie, I have many happy memories of being in your home in Elkin when we were growing up. I always felt so much warmth and caring from your mom. I know that warmth and the love she gave to both of you will sustain you in the days ahead. Sending you and your family prayers of comfort.

We began knowing Edith and her family at Pleasant Hill Baptist years ago. She, Joe and the girls were very active and lived for God. Praying that God with bless her girls and their families.

What a precious lady Edith was. I always loved her at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and all she taught me. She had the sweet smile and was always so kind. And so was Joe her husband. Edith was one of the first people I met when Charlie and I came to First Baptist. She was very friendly and welcomed us . She had such a sweet spirit everytime I'd see her. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Our prayers and sympathy are with the family.
