Edith B. Ragan

Edith B. Ragan, 81, was delivered into the hands of her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016 at 1:43 PM. Mrs. Ragan had been a longtime Morristown resident before moving to Knoxville in 2001 to be with her daughter. While in Morristown, she was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and in Knoxville, she faithfully attended HeartsWay Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Ragan; parents John and Margaret Ann Maner; brothers John ""J.C"", Rufus, Randy and Jerry Maner. sisters Clara Mae Davis and Josephine Maner.

Edith leaves her daughter and son-in-law Penny and Clarence Ragan; grandchildren CA and Brandon Lamar Davis; and with several nieces and nephews.

Receiving of friends will be Monday, Aug. 8 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Mayes Family Services of Morristown, Downtown Chapel with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Mike Torrence officiating.

Family and friends will gather at 9:45 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9 in The Good Shepard Section of Hamblen Memory Gardens, Morristown, for a 10 a.m. graveside service.

Donations in her honor may be sent to the Hearts Way Baptist Church, 2810 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37921.
