Edith Marie Patton Wells, age 103, of Winchester, KY, passed away Monday, September 22, 2025, at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY.

Edith was born in West Liberty KY on September 20, 1922, to the late Warren and Bertha Gividen Patton. Edith was blessed with a long healthy, active life. She was full of zest and loved to socialize with her friends and she never met a stranger. The highlight of her life was spoiling her grand and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Community Church.

Edith is survived by 2 daughters Gail Wells of Mt. Sterling and Sheila Hughes of Paris; 1 son Mark (Connie) Wells of Mt. Sterling; 2 grandsons Michael (Becca) Hughes and Kevin (Selina) Hughes; 3 great-great grandchildren Henry Hughes, Walter Hughes, Hagan Hughes; 1 sister Mary Jo Triplett of Owingsville.

Besides her parents, Edith was preceded in death by husband Randy Wells and 1 son Richard Wells.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 26, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Community Church, 6155 Mt. Sterling Road, Winchester. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. Officiating will be Neil Salvaterra.

Burial will follow at Clarmont Memorial Garden, Winchester, KY.

Pallbearers: Mark Wells, Michael Hughes, Kevin Hughes, Don Birch, Randall Armitage, Hunter Reed.

Honorary Pallbearers: O.C. Hamm
