I always enjoyed working with Ed; his humble demeanor and inquisitive nature made working with him a pleasure. He will be missed.
On the lighter side, we always got a chuckle out of Ed introducing himself every time he spoke up in a group conversation even when we knew him and knew his voice, "This is Ed - Ed Atiyeh from Eastern Ops".
