Edmond Joe, affectionately known as EJ, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Delano, California, he graduated form Valley High School in 1988. He built a long and dedicated career at Costco, where he worked for 34 years until his retirement in 2023. His work ethic, kindness, and steady presence left a lasting impression on colleagues which in turn became family.
Known for his radiant smile that could light up an entire room, EJ had a special gift for making people feel seen and heard. When he listened, he gave you his full attention- his warm presence making you feel like the most important person in the world.
EJ is survived by his loving wife, Anny; his beloved son, Coleton; and the family dog, Bentley, sisters Jennifer Joe-Monday and Lely Araiza. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, a loving brother and a loyal friend.
EJ will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Please join us as we celebrate the life of Edmond Joe on Sunday, June 29th, 2025 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at East Lawn Elk Grove Mortuary, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95624. Please arrive by 12:30pm so that way we can begin on time.
There will be a Celebration of Life after the service at Junior's Restaurant at 390 N Sunrise Ave., Roseville, CA 95661. Family and friends are welcome to both locations.
