Edmund I Manchego age 86 died peacefully in his home on July 26th 2017 with his daughter at his side. Preceded in death Buy mother Mary Espinoza, father Tobias Manchego, sisters Doris Manchego and Eurise Manchego, Brothers, Arthur Manchego; Robert Manchego and Garfield Manchego. Edmund Manchego was a pioneer of Colorado and a longtime proud resident of Englewood Colorado. Edmund was a humble Man Who loved his family, Broncos, beautiful women, a hot cup of coffee, and an ice cold beer. Born on December 10th 1930 in Gardner Colorado, a small town in southern colorado. He was an Army veteran who served in the Korean War. Edmund worked for Gates Rubber Company for 40 years and retired with perfect attendance. He went to All Souls Catholic church every Saturday to reserve Sunday for his football and family. He like to go workout at the Englewood Recreation Center every Monday Wednesday and Friday. He also like to go to Blackhawk every once in awhile to gamble. He liked to ride his three-wheeler bicycle around the neighborhood and also down to his favorite bar. He liked reading his newspaper The Denver Post online but still received his actual newspaper on his front doorstep every day. He enjoyed watching his granddaughter Natasha and his grandson Westley grow up. He also enjoyed his 3 great grandchildren. He often would tell stories about his childhood growing up. If anybody has some stories to share we would love to hear them. Edmund was an amazing man he raised his daughter Rene since she was 8 months old all by himself. Not often was a child raised by only their dad back in those days.

Edmund loved football. The Denver Broncos was his favorite team. Edmund Manchego will be missed greatly. If anybody has any contributions for funeral expenses there will be a donation box at the reception which will be held at the Full House Bar following the services there will also be a taco bar for everyone. The family would greatly appreciate it. The services will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM at All Souls Catholic Church at 4950 South Logan Street, Englewood, Colorado 80113. His ashes will be buried after the services at 11:30 AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 3698 South Sheridan Blvd, Denver, Colorado 80236. I always remember the smile my grandpo Garfield would get when you came to his house to visit, how his face would fill with excitement when he told me stories of you guys shooting pool, but I mostly remember how he enjoyed sharing a beer with you. We love you Uncle Edmund and we know you're resting in peace!

We will remember your father as a person who has lived his whole life with respect, honor, and dignity. Although he pass away but he will always stay with us in our memories. Your father has given us lot or memories which we will cherish in our lifetime. WE may never understand how intense the loss is for your family.

I was truly blessed to have you as my grandpa for 30 years... You always was my shoulder to cry on & lean on... I miss you so much & am just happy you are not suffering anymore! I hated seeing you in pain and just kept praying for it to be as peaceful as possible... I know you are my angel with me and watching over me now and I hope you know how much I love you!!
