Edmundo L. Castro, age 84, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, in Galena Park, surrounded by the love and presence of his family. Born on November 16, 1941, in Galeana, Nuevo León, Mexico, he was the cherished son of Rosa Luna Ramirez and Victoriano Castro.
From humble beginnings, Edmundo built a life defined by devotion, resilience, and deep affection for those he loved. He married the love of his life, Mercedes Soule Romero, and together they created a beautiful family that became the center of his world. His dedication as a husband, father, and grandfather was unwavering, and his quiet strength and gentle spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Edmundo's legacy lives on in the values he instilled-kindness, hard work, and the importance of family. His presence brought comfort, his laughter brought joy, and his wisdom guided those around him. He will be remembered not only for the life he lived but for the love he gave so freely.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to share in his journey.
