Edna Goettman Obituary
Born October 1, 1932, in New Brighton, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Jennie (Brandt) Funkhouser. She was Methodist by faith. She liked crafts, sewing and making quilts. Boating, vacationing, gardening, and crossword puzzles brought her joy. She loved flowers and birds, but more than anything loved her family.
Surviving are her sons, Kenneth (Linda) Alexander, Randall (Kim) Alexander, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and sister, Martha Russell.
Edna was predeceased by sons, Edwin and Timothy, husbands, James K. Alexander, Leonard A. Goettman, sisters, Norma, Helen, Anna, June, Elsie, Lucille, and brother, Paul.
Friends will be welcomed Wednesday, July 9, from 4pm until the time of service at 7pm, in the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 3rd Ave, New Brighton, with Pastor Gary Hilton officiating.
