Edna May Gresch

I was blessed with a mother-in-law whose heart was truly kind. Though it aches to know she is no longer here beside us, there is peace in knowing her suffering has ended. Now, she walks with angels and Polkas with her sisters... light on her feet, needing no hand to steady her - only wings to carry her home.

Grandma, the most fond memories I will forever hold near and dear are the times we would come over to your house and watch Hook and Rescuers Down Under, how you let us play dress up in your wedding dress, how you would always let us play with your `show´ baby dolls, how nothing was ever off limits at your house. I will always cherish how you would come over every Sunday to our house after you and grandpa went to Crackle Barrel and to the Antique shop and bring donuts. When dad would mention `grandmas making´ I would never let him finish the sentence, I just knew we were coming to your house for an amazing dinner. I will never forget laughing our butts off when Antique Roadshow came to town and we saw you and grandpa pass the camera several times waving. No matter how small or big our accomplishments were in life you were always our cheerleader! You will be missed dearly, but I´m so glad you are no longer in pain. Please watch over us! Love you!

Aunt Edna you were always a bright light and full of smiles. I looked forward to our family reunions because I got to see you and grandpa's siblings. You always made me laugh. I will miss you.

Mom, I will miss you forever! It was an honor, taking care of a wonderful woman like you for over two years. I´m glad I had the strength to help you stand to help you go outside the house to the casino where you enjoy yourself and even out to dinners and just walking around the neighborhood let you feel the sun on your face.
I promised you that me and Glenn will take care of Dad. I´m so glad your mom and dad came down for you and took you to heaven to be with all the rest your family.
So glad that you are the best grandma to my kids and the best Gigi to my grandkids they will always love you and I will make sure I share a lot of stories with them as they grow up!

Grandma, thank you for everything that you have done for me throughout my life. Your warmth and love always made me feel like I belonged. I will miss you dearly and your legacy will forever live through me and our family.

God blessed me to have a Mom like you for 65 years. You were always there for me in the good times and bad. I´ll miss you more than you know and will always love you. Thank you for being a great mom and grandmother to my kids! Until we see each other again. Thinking of you always!
