Edna L. Hayes, age 89 of Fairborn, passed away surrounded by her family on July 9, 2022. She was born January 22, 1933, in Brodhead, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Henry and Nannie (Blanton) Deborde. Edna enjoyed arranging flowers, decorating for her favorite holiday, Christmas; and spending time with family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. Edna is survived by five children, Barbara Estepp, Gary (Vicky) Hayes, Larry (Sue) Hayes, Jimmy Hayes, Billy (Sandy) Hayes; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; as well as extended family. A funeral will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 7:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Bryan Graham officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service. A graveside service will be held on Friday July 15, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Byron Cemetery. If you would like to go in precession, please meet at the funeral home at 9:45 A.M.
