Edna Ivory Obituary
Mrs. Edna Lillian Hill Ivory 88, of Ivy, Virginia, departed this life on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at a local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson "Jack" Ivory.
Mrs. Ivory was a long time employee of Murray Elementary School in Ivy, Virginia, and Stromberg/Carlson in Charlottesville, Virginia.
She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Daniel "Danny" Ivory of Scottsville, Virginia; one sister, Gertrude Hill; a brother, Rudolph Hill and his wife, Eloise, of Scottsville, Virginia; and a host of nieces and nephews to include, Teresa Rahming, Karen Thompson, Wanda Hill, Donna Taylor, Agnes "Louise" Ivory Booker and her husband, John, and Steve Ivory.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2011, at Union Baptist Church, Scottsville, Virginia, with the Reverend James Wright officiating. Interment will follow at the Hill Family Cemetery Scottsville, Virginia.

Danny:
Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to you! We are so sorry that we were unable to be there with you today however, please know that we love you and will miss Aunt Lillian's prescence in our family as well.
You have been a great son and I know you have made both Uncle Jack and Aunt Lillian proud! Be encouraged.
