Edna Marie Hinchliffe Billew, cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 8, 2025. She was 90 years old.
Born in Elkhart, Indiana, she was one of 17 children born to William Henry Bordner and Bernice Luella Brown Bordner. Edna was a homemaker and adored crafting, dancing and clogging. She also loved spending time at the auctions and enjoyed outings to sing karaoke. Most importantly, she thrived on time spent with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Phillip Hinchliffe Sr.; her second husband, Julian Billew and 5 sisters and 10 brothers.
Survivors include her children, Phillip Hinchliffe Jr. and his wife, Lynn, Karen Langley, Susan Hinchliffe and Carl Hinchliffe; sister, Delores Mardis and her husband, Ed; brother, Carlton Bordner; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 12, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville. Burial will be private on Mrs. Billew's property in Danielsville. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
