Edna Ann Miller, daughter of the late Martin and Mary (Wurtz) Parmenter, was born August 1, 1952, in Topeka, Kansas, and passed away March 28, 2025, at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 72 years, 7 months, and 27 days of age.

Edna was raised in the Mountain Grove area and graduated from Mountain Grove High School with the class of 1970. She married Richard Miller on October 30, 1970. Two children were born to this union, Doug and Monica.

Edna worked at the Brown Shoe Company for many years until it closed. After that, she worked for Wehr Motors where she wore many hats. She retired after being with Wehr Motors for 27 years.

Edna enjoyed riding and working with horses her entire life. She was a longtime member of Calvary Temple Church where she was saved and baptized many years ago.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, David Parmenter.

Edna is survived by her husband, Richard Miller of Mountain Grove, Missouri, her son, Doug Miller and his wife, Tina, and her daughter, Monica Barker and her husband, Jeremy, all of Mountain Grove, her daughter-in-law, Shawna Miller, three brothers, Bill Parmenter, Richard Parmenter, and Danny Parmenter all of Mountain Grove, two sisters, Opal Neal and her husband, Randall, and Dolly McCleary and her husband, David, all of Mountain Grove, seven grandchildren, Kaylynn, Johnny, Chase, Nick, Kendra, Paxton, and Nash, five great-grandchildren, Cole, Baylor, Mia, RiLeigh, and Easton, and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
