With heavy hearts, we share that Edna Ann Mollet, age 92, of Aviston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Countryside Manor in Aviston.

Edna was born on April 23, 1933, in Albers, the daughter of Benard and Verbena (Nothaus) Thuenemann. On June 24, 1953, she married the love of her life, Robert "Roy" Mollet, at St. Bernard Church in Albers. Together, they shared 31 years of marriage before his passing in 1984.

She was the devoted mother to Karen (Claude) Knuepfer, Cheryl (Steve) Haar, Rhonda Graff, and Brian (Julie) Mollet, and is survived by her dear sisters, Dorothy Ross and Jane (significant other Herb Heinen) Heely, her brother-in-law, Ron (Dianne) Mollet, and many nieces and nephews.

Her cherished grandchildren include: Amy (Mike) Primrose; Kaylen (Thomas) Isles; Jacob (Haley) Knuepfer; Cassie White; Doug Mollet; Megan (RJ) Richardson; Carlene (Tony) Hempen; Lindi (Nathan) Hegger; Emily (Paul) Massey; Chris (Kryssy) Mollet; Devon Graff; Nichole (Jordan) Hansen; Lesley Mollet; Adrienne (Alex) Thurber; and Matt Mollet.

She was also lovingly known as Meme to Wil and Paul Beachum, and a proud great-grandmother to 30 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Edna will be remembered for her radiant smile, her devotion to her faith, and her boundless love for her family. She cared for countless children in the Aviston community as a babysitter and nanny, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and joy.

She is reunited in eternal peace with her husband Roy, her sons Lester and Eric, her granddaughter Jill, her son-in-law Randy, and many beloved family members who went before her.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Aviston with Fr. Von Deeke presiding. Interment will follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
