Edna Louise Nickerson

EDNA LOUISE NICKERSON, age 66, Cynthiana, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Born in Bourbon County, October 1, 1946, to Lenora Faye Reynolds Markland, Carlisle and the late Clarence Thomas Markland, she was a homemaker. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Ring. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Winford Lane Nickerson; two sons, Tracy Markland and Tony Markland, both of Cynthiana; four sisters, Phyllis Nickerson, Cynthiana, Bonnie Powell, Linda Mitchell and Brenda Hill, all of Bethel County; four grandchildren, Anthony Markland, Jennifer Markland, Tara Jo Markland and Christian Markland; three great grandchildren, Zoey Markland, Cayden James Markland and Zachary Lee Dale Markland and a special pet dog, Pepper. A memorial service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday at the Clifton Village Community Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Ware Funeral Home.
