Pharr - "Edna Attwood Rosales was born January 30, 1930 and passed away peacefully at Colonial Manor Advanced Rehab & Healthcare in Pharr. She was a cherished Mother Grandmother, Great-grandmother, friend and her presence will be deeply missed." She is preceded in death by her late husband Raul Rosales and parents Audelia Longoria and James Attwood from LaGrulla, Texas. Her brothers are late Robert Attwood and James Attwood. Late Aunts Sophie Bentz Elenor Bromly, Mary and Carol.

Edna Attwood Rosales, children Thomas James (Linda)Rosales, Mary de Villers (late Nelson), Susie Attwood, Cynthia(Greg)Barrera, and Roy Rosales. She is also survived by grandchildren, Christine(Larry Goodwin), Joel Gloria, Jr., Michael Alvarez, Isaac Alvarez, Raul G. Rosales, Angela V. Rosales McCorkle, Aaron Thomas Rosales, Lisa Ann Sullivan(William Robert), Kristy Ann Barrera, Mary-Ann Edna Drummond(Robert Edward) and Roy Thomas Rosales; great grandchildren, Rachel(Kramer)Rhodes, Jade Alvarez, Mark Alvarez, Kristen Alvarez, Jared Alvarez, Aless Andrina Rosales, Lucia Isabella Rosales, Mateo Thomas Rosales, Emily Skye Rosales, Ryder Austin Sullivan, Reign Olivia Sullivan, John Bohdam Drummond, and Daisy Marie Drummond; great-great grandchildren Rhett Rhodes. She also has extended Attwood & Raul Longoria Family. And Late Grandfather King George Carew Attwood from England. Buried in La Grulla Tx.

Mrs. Edna Rosales was a successful Business Marketing Entrepreneurship owner of Pikes Restaurants, including McAllen Miller, Hidalgo, Pharr, Harlingen, Edcouch and numerous other Valley Restaurants. She was an active member of the Texas Restaurant Association and its Conventions. She was a devoted Catholic member at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in McAllen. She dedicated her life to her loving family. She enjoyed traveling to Yellow Stone, California, Big Bend, and several states. Spent several years in Austin visiting her grandchildren.

The Family would like to deeply thank you for your support. DHR Doctors, Colonial Manor Nurses, LVN's CNA's Therapist, and Administration. Forever Memories and support with friends and family. Edna Attwood Rosales will always have a special place in our hearts and will be truly missed by all those who were part of her life.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. Rosary being recited at Ceballos Funeral Home of McAllen. Mass will be held on Friday, January 23rd at 10:30 a.m to 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows and Catholic interment will be held at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 1:00p.m

The Rosales Family entrusted their services to the care of Ceballos Funeral Home of McAllen.

She looks familiar and her name rings a bell. I am almost sure that she was related she a resident that I had a looooong time ago....Mr. George Attwood. The name Sophie Bentz also sounds familiar.... I think she was George's sister. Edna may have come to visit George on a regular basis.
May she rest in peace.
