Edna Sibiga Obituary
Branchburg - Edna Lucille Sibiga (Emery), 90, passed away on Wednesday (January 6, 2021), at home in Branchburg, formerly of North Plainfield.
Edna was born in Plainfield, to Bertha Madeline (Bennett) and Percy Conover Emery on September 12, 1930. She was a graduate of Plainfield High School. She worked at Kingston-Conley Inc. before getting married to Edward John Sibiga on May 4th, 1957 at The Congregational Church - Plainfield, NJ.
Edna's main love in life was taking care of her six children, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved going shopping with her daughters, she loved to knit and crochet, read and do word searches.
Edna is preceded in death by her parents Berth and Perce Emery, her half-sister Ethel Emery, her Dear loving husband Edward J. Sibiga a Navy Veteran of World War II, and her son Edward J. Sibiga Jr. formerly of Virginia Beach, VA.
Edna is survived by her eldest daughter Pamela Dixon and husband Chris of Easton, PA., and the 1st surviving Quadruplets of NJ, Brian Sibiga and wife Michelle of Raritan, NJ., Beverly Detlefs of Lopatcong, NJ., Barbara Dalessio and husband Jim of Branchburg, NJ., and Brenda McGeehan and husband Thomas of Iselin, NJ., and 10 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to The American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023, and The New Jersey Humane Society, 6412 Dewey Ave., West New York, NJ 07093.
The family of Edna wishes to extend our sincere thanks to numerous Doctors, nurses and aides that showed tireless dedication and took great care of her over the years.
There will be a visitation on Sunday, January 10th from 1-4PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen. A funeral service will take place on Monday, January 11th at 10:30am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Franklin Memorial Park, Somerset. For more info please visit www.sheenanfh.com
