Edna L. Wright

Mrs. Edna L. Wright, 81 of 2004 Nelms Rd. in Albany died April 12, 2006 at her residence.A native of Cleburn Co., AL, Mrs. Wright has lived in Albany since 1952. She is a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher and church clerk. She also served as chaplain for the Ladies Auxiliary with the Elks Lodge. Mrs. Wright enjoyed sewing and painting, and was a devoted wife and mother for 61 years. Survivors include her husband Henry T. Wright of Albany, son, Dennis Wright and his wife Mary Jo of Albany, daughters, Daryl Ann Lane and her husband Cleve of Albany, and Donna Harmon and her husband Jim of Albany, grandchildren, Dennis Wright, Jr., Jodi Simpson, Jennifer Wright, Allison Wallace, Ashley Harmon, Margaret Harmon and Jaymie Harmon, three great-grandchildren, brother, Omer Lee Alred of Sylvester, number of nieces and nephews. Her parents, Henry L. and Johnnie J. Farmer Alred, sisters, Ethel Rouse, Ezmel Dorminy and a brother, Homer Alred, preceded Mrs. Wright in death.
