It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mother, Edouarde Morisset, who left us on Monday, September 16, 2024 after a beautifully lived life. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering her strength, wisdom, and love in abundance. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of her community, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength.
Mom was predeceased by her husband, parents, and two siblings. She leaves behind her children: Lesly (Yanick), Evans (Josie), Rilande (Wilfrid), Edwin (Ashley), and Johanne (Peter); twelve grandchildren: Stephanie, Jean-Philippe, Sean, Brandon, Stephan, Chase, Mateo, Kinneret, Eden, Sara'i, Eliel, and Yah'li; grandniece Sophie-Anne, her twin brother Edouard (Marthe), older brothers Hilaire and Jean, beloved sisters-in-law Yolette and Micheline, as well as countless nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who felt her warmth and generosity throughout her life.
To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, September 28, 2024. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable and inimitable woman.
Due to the limits of flower arrangements allowed by the cemetery, Vases of flowers and smaller arrangements would be preferred with sincerest appreciation.
