On behalf of the Pacific Region of the Society of Air Force Nurses (SAFN), I would like to express our sincere condolences at the loss of your loved one. Please know that we are also mourning the loss of our colleague and friend, Second Lieutenant Edris Wagers. Her obituary stated she was at Travis Air Force Base where she cared for pediatric patients. I walked those same hallways at David Grant Medical Center and cared for pediatric patients in the early 1980s. She was remembered in the Monthly Memorial Program Message which was sent to all SAFN members so you may hear from other Air Force nurses who served with her.
