Eduardo Castillo

Eduardo "Eddie" Castillo, 65, passed away on December 15, 2025, after living with advanced heart failure, surrounded by his family. Born on May 15, 1960, in Bakersfield, California, Eduardo lived a life rooted in faith, service, and devotion to others.
Eddie dedicated 25 years to working at Uricchio's Italian Restaurant, where he was treated like family and formed lasting relationships. A devoted Christian, he was deeply connected to his church community and found joy in serving others. He frequently volunteered through the church, helping distribute food boxes to those in need, and was often the designated chef for church events sharing his love through cooking.
Above all, Eddie loved his family and those closest to him. He expressed his care through acts of service, always willing to help, give, and show up for others. He will be remembered for his generosity, presence, and the quiet ways he made a difference in the lives around him.
