Eduardo Guzman Obituary
Eduardo Guzman, beloved husband to Shirley Guzman, father to Sandra Cimino (Steve) and Karen Serio (A. J.) and grandfather to Anthony, Joe, Olivia and Giovanna passed away on November 13th.
Eduardo was born in Santiago, Chile on February 21, 1942 to parents Eduardo and Amelina. Eduardo immigrated to America in 1965, and worked for the Ford Motor Company until he was drafted into the United States Army in 1968 where he was in the 185th Maintenance Battalion during the Vietnam War. Eduardo returned to the United States in 1969, and returned to Ford while he attended and graduated from Lawrence Technological University.
Eduardo enjoyed spending time with family, traveling with his wife Shirley, and attending church where he was an elder. His constant laughter, kind heart, compassionate spirit, and endless curiosity led to his development of meaningful relationships with all he met. He will be dearly missed.
We will be celebrating Eduardo's life and service at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly MI 48442 on December 4th at 11:00 am, where he will receive military honors and be laid to rest. There will also be a memorial service at Christ Presbyterian Church, 18451 West 10 Mile Road, Southfield, M on December 5th at 12:00 pm. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in Eduardo's memory.
