Eduardo Celestino Vargas Guerrero was born on March 26, 1968, in the vibrant city of
Caracas, Venezuela. He departed this life on November 9, 2025, in Kansas City,
Missouri, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable joy that will
forever be cherished by all who knew him.
Eduardo earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Santa Maria University. A
lover of travel and big-city adventure, he lived in Miami, New York City, Austin,
Chicago, and Kansas City, collecting friends and stories wherever he went. His warm
personality, humor, and genuine kindness made him memorable to everyone
fortunate enough to cross his path.
Eduardo was a beam of sunshine with an irresistibly goofy charm. He had a gift for
making people laugh—sometimes without even trying—and his playful spirit brought
levity to every room he entered. Children adored him, sensing his gentle heart, and
babies seemed to calm magically in his arms. His sense of humor shined especially
bright during the holidays, when he proudly embraced his reputation as the family
“grinch,” adding sarcasm and mischief to Christmas gatherings in a way that only he
could.
Eduardo’s interests reflected the vibrant tapestry of his life. He loved traveling to new
places, visiting friends, attending drag shows, spending time with his beloved
dogs—Luna, Obi, and Tiberius—and enjoying karaoke, always singing with
enthusiasm even if he wasn’t the strongest vocalist. He cared deeply for his family and
played a loving, supportive role in helping care for them throughout his life.
He was the beloved eldest son of Cristina Matilde Guerrero and the late Rigoberto
Vargas. Eduardo was preceded in death by his brother, Ricardo Vargas, and is
survived by his siblings Gerardo, Rolando, and Sofhia, as well as his fiancé, Michael.
As the oldest, Eduardo took pride in helping raise his younger siblings, and later, his
nieces and nephews. His steady presence, generosity, and humor shaped their lives
in lasting ways. Together, they will hold tightly to the countless memories—joyful,
heartfelt, ridiculous, and deeply precious—that will keep his spirit forever alive within
them.
