Edward Richard Bailey was called to be with Jesus on August 25, 2025. While we grieve his passing, we rejoice knowing he is home in Heaven. He was born to Lenora and George Bailey on May 29, 1943. Throughout his life, Edward lived on his own terms, loving his family unconditionally and embracing every moment with a heart full of joy.
As a proud United States Marine, he carried the values of honor, courage, and commitment with him in all that he did. These principles shaped not only his service to his country but also how he approached life in general. One of Edward's greatest passions was running his own printing company. His dedication was evident in both his work and the countless lives he touched through his business.
Edward is survived by his loving wife, Janette Bailey, who was his steadfast partner throughout their life together. He leaves behind his cherished children: Kassandra B. & John Anselmo, Edward Jr. & Rhonda Bailey, and Mike & Shannon Cormier. In addition to his immediate family, Edward is survived by his beloved brothers, Richard Bailey and Carlos Bailey, and his dear sisters, Rosie Bailey, Alice Bailey, and Margo Ricarte.
The light of Edward's life shone brightest in the faces of his grandchildren—Brittany Anselmo, Lindsay Anselmo and her fiancé Antoine Hythier, Jackson, Alexa, Anneliese, and Grant Cormier. The laughter and joy of his great-grandchildren, Harper Hunter & Colette Hythier and Rhys Cormier, brought him immense happiness and delight.
He held a special place in his heart for his extended family, including his nieces, Louetta Nicholson and family, and Felicia Diaz and family, all of whom shared in the warmth and love he offered so freely. To each of them, Edward was not just family; he was a source of strength, pride, and unwavering love that will live on forever in their hearts.
We will always carry with us the strength he embodied, his incredible sense of humor, and the laughter that could fill a room. The countless joyful memories we created together will forever be a part of us. As we gather to celebrate the life of Edward Richard Bailey, we hold tightly to the love he shared and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind. Until we meet again, we love you always.
