Edward P. Bailey, Sr., 84, of Sharon, passed away with his family by his side on Thursday evening, November 20, 2025, in UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle.

Mr. Bailey was born on December 10, 1940, a son of the late Kenneth and Ruth (Williams) Bailey. A 1958 graduate of Hickory High School, he honorably served in the U.S. Airforce from 1958 to 1962 as an Air Police K9 handler.

Upon his honorable discharge, Ed began working at the former Donnelly's Golden Dawn, Hermitage, working more than 25 years as the produce manager. He was known for his impressive fruit baskets during the holiday season. After the store's closure, he worked in other stores produce departments, before taking a job in the maintenance department of Sharon School District, where he ultimately retired.

Ed enjoyed woodworking, model railroads and researching projects. He filled his free time watching Youtube, such as Ants Pants, Working Horses with Jim, and Lumnah Acres. When his children were younger, he cherished time together fishing. He also liked bowling and animals, especially his cats and dogs.
