Mr. Edward Ray “Rowdy” Barnett, age 60, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Mt. Pleasant Health and Rehabilitation.
Born on February 23, 1965, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Edward was the son of the late Kenneth Edward Barnett and the late Ruthie Rae Haddock Laws. He was a graduate of Summertown high school and a talented mechanic who could fix just about anything. He enjoyed helping friends and neighbors with farm equipment repairs and was especially skilled at working on electronics. Many truck drivers would stop by to have him repair their radios, knowing they could always count on his expertise.
Edward will be remembered for his hardworking nature and the many ways he used his talents to help others.
He is survived by his brothers, Bobby Glenn Barnett of Columbia and James Patton Barnett of Summertown.
The family will hold a graveside service at a later date.
