Edward "Ed" Michael Barnum, 74, passed away peacefully at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 9, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Ed was a passionate and dedicated union worker serving the members of Teamsters Local 120 as an elected Business Agent from November 1992 until he retired in October 2008. Prior, he was a Teamster truck driver at Consolidated Freightways, Briggs Transportation and Barry Cartage in the Twin Cities for many years. Earlier in life, he worked at Johnson Reel in Mankato, MN. He also served in the U.S. Navy completing 3 tours in Vietnam following high school.
Ed is survived by his wife, Sherri Barnum; his children, Mary Beth (Jerry) Galloway, Paul Barnum, and their mother, Elizabeth Barnum; his grandchildren, Kalegeta, Connor, Kieran, and Cristian Galloway; as well as his brothers, Bob (Val) Barnum and Rick Barnum; his aunt, Shirley Yates and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marion Barnum.
Celebration of Life 11am on Saturday, October 5th at the funeral home with visitation at 10:00am.
