I only heard of Ed's passing just the other day, so I apologize for the late message. Ed played on our soccer team for several seasons and was a truly great inspiration to all of us. His enthusiasm and attitude toward the game and his personal situation were truly astounding if not inspirational. He showed up at every game ready to play, through the best and worst of times. His positive vibe rubbed off on all of us. I am truly sorry to hear that he is no longer here to motivate us all to a higher standard. We could use more Ed's in the world. He is sorely missed. Me and James met at Chattahoochee Tech College, in Marietta, GA. From day one we instantly grew respect for one another. From laughing at the spades table, to leaving class James spirit was always in a great place. We shared so many memories on the Basketball Courts at Fair Oaks Park in Marietta, Ga as well. It´s funny other players would always get upset when we played together because we were in sync from start to finish. Yes we were the Fair Oaks Kobe & Shaq. Today may be a sad day for his transformation has begun. But always know James was proud of his Barbadian Culture and was always there for his family and his friends. James, you were like an uncle to me. You were very kind, funny, and smart. Whenever you came around it was a blast every time! I can´t believe you are gone, my entire time growing up and becoming the adult I am now you were there. You were there every step of the way, my Highschool graduation, and boot camp graduation, you came out and we all celebrated. I will always remember that you were In love with my subs lol. I´m so sad to see you go, until we meet again I love you James and I hope you rest in peace

James and I are both big sports fans so we HARASS each other every Sunday during the games we were watching. I am a GreenBay fan so this last season was such a joke to us both (considering he´s a Jets fan). We couldn´t wait to go to a Jets game this year, so I´ll be going to one in your honor, big little brother.

You will be truly missed. You were always a positive energy to be around. Every time I saw you passing through the halls at Lincoln you always had a smile on your face with high spirits. When I met you, we were ambassadors at Lincoln but now you will be an ambassador for our Heavenly Father.

From the day we met you showed me nothing but love. You were there when I had Kaiden! You cried with my mom when things got complicated! You treated my kids like your own! Your not in pain anymore James rest well

We first meet in 2nd grade (1998) and were inseparable ever since. I love you like a blood brother. Life sent us in different directions but we always stayed in touch and I was blessed to have you in my life. The countless memories we shared will forever remain in my heart.
Your battle is now over and you can rest easy. I love you brother.

I cant believe im writting this...... James you will always have a special place in my heart. I took you in at a young age and helped you throught I lot I looked at you as my own little brother.
